ABOUT US:

The Karrel Douglas Educational Foundation(KDEF) aims to provide high-risk school-age youth with access to education and additional support resources. Our scholarship assistance uniquely targets scholars at all educational levels in communities of need in Los angeles. This will allow resource-deprived students to pursue career opportunities specific to their skills, talents, and dreams.  With academic attainment, career skills, and professional network, our graduates can be equipped with the appropriate tools to combat the vicious cycle of poverty, crime, and violence seen in their marginalized communities.
